LEVELLING UP: WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR OUR SECTOR?
In this session we'll discuss the recent levelling up white paper and pull out key points that affect our sector. We'll focus on the proposals to improve social infrastructure – the spaces, places and activities that connect people and improve wellbeing.
By the end of this session you'll:
understand the background to the levelling up agenda
have discussed what levelling up means for your organisation and your communities
have discussed your concerns and plans with your peers and NCVO.
THE VCSE SECTOR: A FORCE FOR TRANSFORMING THE HEALTH OF OUR COMMUNITIES
The VCSE sector plays a vital role in transforming health and care systems across the country. We'll explore how we can work together to shape effective, place-based services in a post-covid-19 world, and share examples of this work in practice.
You'll leave this session with:
a greater understanding of the sector’s role in health and care transformation
