Job description

Voluntary Sector North West (VSNW) is the regional voluntary sector network for the North West. Our aim is to ensure the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector, in all its diversity, takes its full part in shaping the future of the North West.

To support this mission, we are seeking a dynamic Communications & Policy Officer to drive the Greater Manchester VCFSE Leadership Group’s voice, influencing and communications work, ensuring effective engagement with stakeholders and the wider sector.

Salary: £33,366-£35,235 per annum (NJC Points 23-25)

7% pension contribution (with 1% contribution by employee)

Working hours: 35 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

25 days holiday plus bank holiday (pro rata) 

Working arrangement: Hybrid working (numbers of days per week remote and in an office to be agreed).

This role is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2026, pending 6-month probation review.
