Are you a VCSE leader interested in sharing your leadership experiences with people from the public sector?
You might be:
A chief executive or senior officer in a voluntary, community or social enterprise organisation.
Someone who leads beyond your organisation.
Interested in leadership cultures and collaborating within and across sectors.
We need a team of VCSE leaders to meet public sector leaders at our upcoming event (timings and details below). Delegates will have the opportunity to learn about each other’s leadership styles, and share stories of how they became the leaders they are.
At our event you will meet other people with an interest in developing their leadership skills and make connections with people from the public sector.
Working collaboratively across sectors is essential. We will present examples of where VCSE organisations have led successful cross-sector partnerships followed by group discussions around collaborative working.
Thank you to all who came to our first meeting in July and for your ideas. Since then, a small working group has worked with your suggestions to format this event.
We are also looking for volunteers to be ‘living books’ on the day and tell their stories of how they became the leaders they are today in the VCSE sector.
Event details:
We will be running two identical sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. You only need to book on to one session (unless you would like to stay for the full day and meet two cohorts of public sector leaders).
Session 1: 9:30am - 12.30pm
Lunch: 12:30pm - 13:30pm*
Session 2: 13.30pm to 16.30pm
*Lunch is available for all delegates - those who wish to come for lunch who are attending session two will need to arrive at 12.30pm.
