GM VCSE Workshop - 'An introduction to co-production'

  • GMCVO St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green North Manchester M12 6FZ (map)

“Commissioners, providers and residents working together will create better proposals and a quicker route to successful change … co-design and co-production will underpin place based, whole system reform.” Commissioning for reform: Greater Manchester commissioning strategy 2018.

Co-production is getting a lot of attention at the moment, but what does it actually mean? Far from being the latest buzzword, co-production underpins the principles of devolution and will be the basis for future commissioning in Greater Manchester.

Whatever your level of understanding or current level of your involvement in this area, join GMCVO on 9th August for an introduction to co-production from a VCSE, statutory and academic perspective and a workshop to explore how we can start to put these ideas into practice. The event will be followed by the opportunity to attend an optional Research Focus group which will aim to understand and share views about how best to design a study that can capture good practice in terms of service user value co-creation in VCSE organisations. The focus group will last for 1 hour.

Delegates are free to attend the entire event OR just the Focus group but will need to register to attend both separately using the links below.

To just attend the Workshop ONLY click here

To register to attend the Research Focus group session ONLY click here, however please note that the focus group session is currently fully booked.

Please note, as this event is likely to be very popular, only one delegate place can be offered to each VCSE organisation in order to ensure that as many organisations can attend as possible from across GM. Multiple registrations from the same organisation will be rejected.
