Digital Communities Network’s first Manchester event is a showcase of northern digital charity talent and an opportunity to access and understand the latest thinking and practice for charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises.
They are delighted to have the following four amazing key speakers:
Vicky Bunnage (Crossroads Derbyshire) will present "Fundraising Online and Offline", sharing her successful strategy to raise a substantial amount of funding for major refurbishment of their women's refuge
Rebecca Thornton (Tesco Burnage) will talk about being a Tesco Community Champion, the supermarket's various initiatives to support charities and their use of digital to network and promote other organisations
Bari Pollard (GMCVO Databases) will address "Using Digital infrastructure to Achieve Impact" which will draw on their current portfolio of over 75 digital projects with charities and voluntary organisations
Esther Oddy (Good Things Foundation) will present information on the Online Centres Network and the benefits of membership
Vicky, Rebecca Bari and others will also form an Expert Panel for a Question and Answer session with delegates, providing a unique opportunity to gain insights, answers and ideas to your digital and fundraising challenges.
Places are FREE for all small charities, community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises.
A small number of public sector, private sector and large charity places will be available but these have a small charge to enable to ensure free places for small charities and non profits.
