Voluntary Sector North West are pleased to invite you to this year’s Labour Party Conference Fringe event in collaboration with Locality and the VS6 Partnership.
At this event we will be discussing the role of the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector within community regeneration through the lens of a Labour Government. We will be exploring questions and ideas such as what is true community regeneration, what policies are needed to achieve community regeneration and how we can address the social determinants of health through community transformation.
Joining us we have a panel of speakers who will guide us through this discussion:
• Gill Bainbridge – CEO of Merseyside Youth Association
• Tony Armstrong – CEO of Locality
• Warren Escadale - CEO of Voluntary Sector North West
We are also hoping to be joined by Labour MPs from across the North West region.
The event is taking place within the fantastic space at The Church of Our Lady and Saint Nicholas, approximately a 10 to 15 minute walk down the waterfront from the Labour Party Conference event cordon, and we will be providing a vegetarian brunch buffet from a local social enterprise at the start of the event.
Where - Liverpool Parish Church (Our Lady and Saint Nicholas) Chapel Street, Liverpool, Merseyside, L2 8TZ, United Kingdom.
When – Tuesday 10th October 2023
