We have been in discussion with Health and Social Care partners working in Cheshire and Merseyside who would like to help develop a draft Carers Strategy and have set aside some funds to support a part time secondment. 

A key focus for the work will be over the next 9-12 months, and could include:

• Linking into a network of Carer Support Organisations to support influence and engagement in C&M Health and Care Partnership and related workstreams eg workforce, population health, etc

• Supporting carers agenda and carer support organisations as the Health and care transformation kicks in (eg end of CCGs)

• Support development of a VCFSE Carers Strategy for potential implementation from April 2022

We would like to invite Carer Support Organisations to a kickstart discussion to think about the above and this role. The discussion will take place on 26th July 12-2pm.
